For this award, Green Car Reports evaluates electric cars that offer at least 32 miles of driving range. When fully charged, the 2019 Audi e-tron has an electric driving range of about 204 miles.*
The e-tron has a unique electric powertrain with an electric motor on each axle and standard electric quattro® all-wheel drive. It delivers an output of 402 horsepower and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 5.5 seconds.
If you’re worried about charging time, the e-tron has fast charging capabilities that can charge the battery from 0-80 percent in about 30 minutes. With just 10 minutes of charging, it will add about 52 miles of driving range.
In addition to its exceptional electric performance, the e-tron is the first all-electric vehicle to earn a 2019 IIHS Top Safety Pick+ rating, which is the highest rating a vehicle can earn. It also got a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
