Check Out These Great Movies Featuring Audi Cars

Nothing takes your mind off of the challenging time we’re in better than kicking back on the couch and putting on a good movie. If you love Audi, you’ll be happy to know that you can find its exciting vehicles in several fantastic films. These great movies featuring Audi cars are perfect for a relaxing afternoon at home.

E.T., the Extra-Terrestrial

It’s fitting that the first on-screen appearance of an Audi happened in one of the biggest blockbuster hits of all time. While most folks will remember a flying bicycle as the primary means of transportation in E.T., the Extra-Terrestrial, the 1981 Audi 5000 features quite prominently in what stood as the biggest moneymaker in movie history for 11 years.

Audi got its own legendary car chase in 1998’s Ronin, which features one of the best chase scenes in film history. Robert De Niro and Jean Reno’s partner, Larry, piles into an Audi S8 and becomes part of silver screen lore for his part in one of the more epic set pieces you’ll ever see. The S8 helped Ronin rank No. 1 on Screen Rant’s list of the 12 Best Action Movie You’ve Never Heard Of — and if you haven’t heard of it you owe it to yourself to check it out.

Marvel movies aplenty

Audi has been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the very beginning, with the R8, S5, and Q7 all appearing in 2008’s megahit, Iron Man. Nine years later, the new Audi A8 made its first appearance ever in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Last year was also an especially big one for Audi — the e-tron, A7, and A8 all appear in Spider-Man: Far From Home and the e-tron Sportback concept and e-tron GT concept both appear in Avengers: Endgame, the top-grossing movie of all time.

Audi vehicles have featured in over 100 films over the past four decades, and that number is only likely to grow in the years to come. To see what Audi has in store if you’re looking for some real-world action, check out our great selection of new vehicles at the Audi Memphis website.
